CRT Stable #1 has acquired our second horse -- a 2 year old bay colt by Williamstown out of the Green Dancer mare Skate Board named Uptown Willie. He was a private purchase selected for us by our Southern California trainer Phil Oviedo.
Uptown Willie Uptown Willie was bred in Kentucky and his sire stands at Payson Stud. His dam, Skate Board, was bred in France and won 3 races there. His sire, Williamstown, raced in stakes company until age 4 and set the track record for a mile at Belmont in 1:32 3/5 in the Withers Stakes. His first foals are 2 year olds in 1998 and he has been doing well at the sales.
